Sunday, June 13, 2010: Grove City’s annual K-9 Carnival will provide a day of off-leash fun for man’s best friend. Join rescue groups, vets, vendors and other dog lovers from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 13 at Fryer Park, 3899 Orders Road, for this unique event.

A temporary, fenced, off-leash area, including a dog-friendly pond, will be available for all well-socialized and vaccinated dogs. All dogs must be restrained when outside of the off-leash area. An additional area will be designated for dogs that weigh less than 25 pounds.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit area rescue and adoption groups, purchase pet care merchandise and enjoy on-site entertainment by 95.5 The Hawk. The Norton Road Veterinary Hospital will provide microchipping. A dog wash station will be offered as fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 136.

Saturday, September 18, 2010: Come join us for the Arts in the Alley Parade. We had such a blast with this last year. We are really looking forward to the parade this fall. We would love to have all of you Dogs Rule! Pack Members showing off your beautiful faces with us this year so be sure to ask your parents to put the parade on your activity calendar!

Ongoing Dog/Cat Pet Food Drive: We would like to invite anyone who has left over or new bags/cans of dog/cat/pet food in their pantry to bring it to Dogs Rule! to our drop off box for delivery to the Franklin County Animal Shelter. Thanks to the efforts of an amazing volunteer, Lynn Grandon, who picks up the food and delivers it, and all of our loving clients, over 950 pounds of food have been donated since December. You guys are the best!
